BUSINESS PANEL REVIEW OPPORTUNITIESToday’s students are tomorrow’s business leaders. So we can prepare our future leaders for success, we need to know what’s going on in the business community. Holding a Business Review Panel is a great way to get feedback about LAP content by involving your advisory committee (or by starting one quickly and easily). Think about the benefits--your participation can create positive positioning with your own business community, while making an important contribution to the discipline of Marketing Education. The process is really very easy. Choose a LAP from the list below and e-mail your selection with your name, mailing address, meeting date and number of business participants to vozenilet@mark-ed.com Then, we’ll send you all of the materials that you need to conduct a productive and successful meeting. Other necessary information: · Distribute the LAPs approximately 10 days before your meeting. (We’ll supply you with 10 copies.) You’ll need a minimum of five participants who actually attend your meeting. Therefore, we recommend you start with 7 - 10. · For the actual meeting, use our review guide as the basis of your discussion. Take careful and complete notes throughout the meeting. Encourage each individual participant to write additional comments directly on the LAP copies that we provide. · Return the LAPs, survey, and your notes to our office. · Each business panel takes approximately 1 1/2 hours for the first LAP and 1 hour for each additional LAP that you review. IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants must have management or supervisory responsibilities and meet the criteria as noted in the list below, AND meet in person to discuss the LAP content. While we value individual remarks (and encourage you to send us feedback from anyone who is interested in providing input), we must have the feedback generated in an actual meeting. Each teacher who sponsors a business review panel for LAPs receives: · FIRST TIME Business Panel Leaders: 1,500 ProPoints and 500 for each additional LAP completed in each review panel meeting. (Maximum number per meeting is 3.) · RETURNING Business Panel Leaders: 1,000 ProPoints and 500 for each additional LAP completed in each review panel meeting.
