To protect the investment of our clients, all MarkED software is assumed to have a five year service period. We will support any software for a minimum of five years from the release date of any given version. We will also protect the software relative to new releases of the same series.
When newer versions of the same software are released, clients may return an earlier version for credit toward the upgrade. The value of the exchange is based on the five year service period as follows:

+Except for year one, any portion of the year counts as a full year. Therefore, a customer who purchased the software 367 days ago may trade in the older version and receive a 60% credit.
*Trade-in value based on the original amount paid for the older version. (NOTE: This is not a return value.) The trade-in value may be applied to the cost of a new version of the same software (only).
